I had a great tool called 'Renamer4Mac' and it worked a treat. Then, I upgraded my mac, and lost it.
Since then, it seems the original owner has sold it (see here) and the new owners (linked from previous) are charging $26. Which to me, is rather steep. I paid less than that for Carbon Copy Cloner, which is infinitely more useful imho.
So, avoid download v3.x, and instead have v2.8.x instead, which is free.
