Toolbar customizations reset on startup - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

This was really annoying, all my little changes kept vanishing.

For example, copy a del.icio.us 'button' to somewhere in a toolbar, then find it's vanished when I restart..

The page above fixed things back to normal.

ZoneAlarm & Activesync

Any way to get ZoneAlarm *free* to play nice with ActiveSync 4.2? in ActiveSync

Just don't do it. Uninstall ZoneAlarm, install ActiveSync, rely on a decent hardware firewall...

Favicons & Firefox

That program does a grand job of fetching favicons, I like a lot.

If you manually need to get one, do this:
1 - right click on the page which has the favicon
2 - choose 'View Page Info'
3 - a popup appears called 'Page Info' beleive it or not...
4 - choose it's Media tab
5 - scroll through the top list of images until you see the favicon
6 - it will appear in the preview pane at the bottom
7 - click 'Save As...' to save it to disk.

Easy.
